Less than two months after the launch of the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge, Google has pulled the rug from under Samsung with a major new advance in Android M: expandable storage has a huge future. Having shunned expandable storage in Nexus devices in the past, Google has performed something of a U-Turn with Android M giving microSD expansion a central role. With M microSD cards will be treated just like native storage making it a boon for photographers and media aficionados.
