Last week at Google I/O, we announced the launch of Google Photos, a new app that separates users' personal photos from the Google+ social network. Now, users can back up private photos and videos to the Google Photos app, while keeping Google+ as a place to follow passions and interests—including their favorite brands.

Rest assured, you can still post photos to your page the same way you always have, and users can still choose to share their photos and videos on G+. We look forward to creating ways to make the G+ photo sharing experience even better.
