Google's Doodle on New Horizons Pluto Flyby
Google has designed a doodle on new horizon pluto flyby on its homepage. Pluto is the largest known object in the Kuiper belt, and the second-most massive known dwarf planet in the Solar System. It was discovered in 1930 and was considered the ninth planet from the Sun. On Monday, an unmanned NASA spacecraft plunged into the unidentified, and today will make a close shave past Pluto, allowing scientists to have a close view of the dwarf planet's surface for the first time.
However, there were some anxieties on Monday as the $700 million spacecraft, called New Horizons, flown toward Pluto, the last undiscovered border in the solar system.
