I am pleased to inform you, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in association with Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC) is organizing a Seminar on ‘Business Impacts of Cyber Attacks & Its Counter Measures’ from 1700 hrs (Registration) to 2000 hrs on Wednesday, 19 March 2014 at CII NR Headquarters, Sector – 31, Chandigarh. The Seminar would be followed by Dinner.

With an ever changing climate of technology and threats, the need for awareness and training to protect our information becomes increasingly critical and mandatory. Cyber-attack can generate outcomes that can range from the simple defacing of a website to the stealing of data and intellectual property and even disruption of critical services. In current times of increased global data flows, understanding cyber security and data protection to harmonize the operations and build trust for industries and government entities.

The seminar would throw light on growing challenges of managing security of the data in organizations that are increasingly connected with their global suppliers, partners and contractors this increases exposure to threats & attacks and demand a comprehensive approach to information security.
