Google has updated it workplace demographics data, a year after an initial report showed huge gender and racial disparities.Google also said that the hiring of African-Americans and Latinos in both technical and non-technical roles has outpaced the overall hiring in those roles. It also emphasized that it is trying harder to recruit from more universities to capture more diverse candidates.
