BBC Somerset is live from Shire Hall on Twitter reporting on a council meeting which is expected to have a huge impact on public services in the county.

The county council has proposed £40million of savings to deliver on the Conservative administration's election promise not to raise council tax.

If approved, the cuts will affect care homes, libraries and youth services.
