Default Search Engine Optimization mysterious PR

I am quite amazed at various techniques of Search Engine Algorithms. Yesterday I observed a strange phenomenon.

The website www.seohawk.com has a PR of 3 whereas all deep links have PR 4-5. I am quote amazed at this phenomenon. If anyone knows whats up with the PR in this case do let me know

regards
raj

Yup,

saw the same thing with a hotels site of mine. The homepage was a PR3, but some inner pages had PR5, but I couldn't find any strong backlinks to them.

Megri.... if Google "fixes" the problem, will my home page go up to 5 or will my inner page go down to 3...? haha

Cheers,
Paz.
